Bertram Calhoun’s PPLSI journey began about 22 years ago. He spent more than five years as a civil engineer and had a rewarding career, but he did not enjoy his schedule. He knew there had to be another opportunity. In 2000, he joined PPLSI under the leadership of Darnell Self. PPLSI has allowed him to be a work-from-home dad for well over 15 years. Most significantly, Bertram was blessed to make Hajj, a spiritual pilgrimage to Mecca. Bertram experienced success and within one year was able to fully focus on his PPLSI business. Less than three years after joining PPLSI, he earned his $100,000 Ring. As the journey continued, Bertram and Fatima Salaam became business partners and worked to achieve some ambitious goals. Most importantly, they were inducted into the Millionaire Club and joined the Platinum World Council by helping their team achieve their goals.

Bertram appreciates Darnell and Traci Self for being excellent mentors and leaders. The P3-TNV family has achieved stellar success with $150,000 Ring Earners Sharon and Melvin Larry, who are also Millionaire Club Members, from Atlanta, two $100,000 Ring Earners in NorCal Bay area, Christa and Mikal Mekki, who are also Millionaire Club Members, and Ted Ma as well as several $50,000 Ring Earners, like Kimberley and Kenneth Royal, Jaya and James Crawford from Dallas, Lanetta Marshall from the NorCal Bay area, Angel Stephens from Tampa, Joel Barnehama from Phoenix , Joslynn Brown from Los Angeles and Janeé Cherí Tucker in Apex, North Carolina as well as more than 150 families who have achieved the rank of Executive Director across 15 states. Bertram says, “Always remember in business focus is everything.”

Fatima Salaam is a mother of five children, the CEO and Founder of Go Women Global and a philanthropist. She has a background in education as a teacher and principal. In 2006, she was blessed to learn about PPLSI at her school’s staff meeting. Initially, she was attracted to PPLSI because of the ability to supplement her teacher’s salary to pay for her children’s extracurricular activities. Then Fatima and business partner Bertram Calhoun worked to achieve some ambitious goals. They built a team of associates in the United States and Canada. They trained thousands on leadership development, personal growth and sales skills. Most importantly, they were inducted into the Millionaire Club by helping their team achieve their goals. Currently, Fatima is the Co-Chair of the Ladies of Justice initiative. Her goal is to help 100 women create choices and live a purposeful life in 2022 by earning additional income.
